National Adopt a Shelter Dog month may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean you can't adopt a shelter dog any other month of the year, and right now, there are dozens in need of fur-ever homes here in Northern Colorado.

Who doesn't love a new, cuddly addition to the family just ahead of the holidays? That's a rhetorical question because, nobody, obviously. And, it's never a bad time to adopt rather than shop for a new companion.

The Humane Society of Weld County in Greeley and the Larimer Humane Society in Loveland have a handful of babes (under two years old) available for adoption right now.
