Located just a few hours from Fort Collins, Steamboat Springs is a beautiful recreational destination that offers world-class skiing, biking, rafting, and lots more year-round fun.

Carl Howelsen introduced the sport of skiing to the town of Steamboat in the early 1900s. Residents caught on quickly and began incorporating the activity into their lives, especially during the town's annual winter carnival.

It's epic to see how much the small town has changed over the years. From starting out with 50 runs to now having 165 different trails and 3,000 skiable acres, it makes sense as to why Steamboat has been dubbed "Ski Town U.S.A." With an average of 154 inches of snow per year, the location makes for a perfect place to ski the slopes.
