Fort Collins residents have another place to get their margarita fix because a new Mexican restaurant just opened in the Choice City.

According to a press release, the Denver-based Los Chingones, owned by TAG Restaurant Group (TRG), opened on Friday (June 25) in the former Famous Toastery at 3541 E. Harmony Rd. While the restaurant has five other locations, this is TRG's first outside of Denver.

"As TRG explored expanding the Los Chingones brand outside of Denver, we felt Fort Collins was a natural fit," said Troy Guard, executive chef, and owner of TRG, in the release. "We're excited to bring the TRG Ohana north and debut some of our new dishes here first."

Open Tuesday through Saturday, the restaurant will host a happy hour at 3:30 p.m., followed by dinner service. On Wednesday (June 30), the eatery will start serving lunch at 11:00 a.m.

Patrons can enjoy "sassy, spicy, sometimes irreverent" Mexican food inspired by Guard's childhood in San Diego, along with new menu items like the Mexican Cojita Taco and the Bang Bang Crispy Shrimp Taco.

The restaurant's 3200 square foot interior seats 104 guests and is decorated with art from local painter Julio Mendoza. On top of a seven-seat Chef's counter, patio seating is also available.
