Eagles to Host Tucson This Weekend, Kicking Off Long Homestand at BEC
Get ready, hockey fans. The Colorado Eagles will be kicking off a long homestand in Northern Colorado, starting with two games against the Tucson Roadrunners tonight (Feb. 11) and Saturday, Feb. 12.
Recent Roster Moves for the Eagles
Since the Eagles' recent game against Bakersfield, forward Dylan Sikura has been recalled by the Colorado Avalanche.
UPDATE: Sikura has been reassigned to the Eagles.
The Eagles have also called up a player of their own, bringing in goaltender Trent Miner from the Utah Grizzlies.
What Does the Six-Game Homestand Have in Store?
Over the course of the next six games, going all the way through to Sunday, Feb. 20, the Eagles will host the Tucson Roadrunners, the Henderson Silver Knights, and the Abbotsford Canucks for a pair of games each.
The last two times Colorado has faced Tucson, they walked - well, skated - away victorious. The last games between the Eagles and the Silver Knights were split, the Silver Knights taking one in a shootout and the Eagles taking the next in a shutout.
As for the Canucks, this will be the first time both teams will have seen each other this season, which should make for an interesting weekend stretch of hockey.
Tickets are still available online for the six upcoming home games, so grab them while you can!
