Fort Collins Murder Suspect Arrested in Evans
Efren Jose Almeida, who is wanted for murder, was captured without incident by officers in Evans late Tuesday night according to the Larimer Country Sheriff.
Last week the Larimer County Police discovered the body of 28-year-old Timothy Byrant in the 200 block of Link Lane in Fort Collins last week. After an investigation, they ruled the death a homicide.
40-year-old Nicole Lenae Gibson of Laramie, Wyoming was arrested Saturday in connection with the homicide. On Tuesday, The Larimer County Sheriff's Office has issued a first degree murder arrest warrant for 34-year-old Efren Jose Almeida
Wednesday morning on Facebook, the Larimer County Sheriff announced that a tip proved to be successful when they arrested Almeida in Evans without incident.
