It's that time of year. The kids are out of school, the weather is heating up, and it's time to get outside and play and cool off.

Various pools, parks, splash pads, and anything else of the sort will be open - and some are already up and running - sooner rather than later.

From Windsor to Fort Collins to Greeley and points in between, there is a place to jump in and cool off and have some fun this summer with family and friends.

Here's what we know about opening dates for these places:

Fort Collins City Park Pool: 

May 28 - August 15

  • Sunday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Monday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Twilight Extended Hours)
  • Wednesday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Rainbow Swim)
  • Thursday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Friday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Admission is $6 for kids 2-17 and $7 for adults. Passes are available while supplies last.

Chimney Park Pool- Windsor:

Opening Day is May 28th.

5 and UNDER $2.50

age 6-17-$3.50

age 18+- $4.00

age 50 and over $3.50

Winona Outdoor Pool Loveland:

While the Lake Loveland swim beach will remain closed for a little while longer due to a staffing shortage, the Winona outdoor pool will be up and running on May 30th.

Monday 10a-5p for the grand opening

Tuesday-Sunday Noon-5p.

2 and under are FREE

ages 2-5- $4.00

ages 6-17- $5.00

age 18 and over- $6.00

age 62 and over - $5.25

Greeley:

All of Greeley's pools and outdoor splash parks including the one at Island Grove Park will be up and running on Saturday, May 28th.

Centennial Pool: opening day is May 28th.

Admission:  kids 5 and under $1.50
