UPDATE 10:35 am:

As of 10:35 am, there are travel restrictions in place for both lanes between Exit 235 and Laramie. These restrictions apply to light, high-profile vehicles due to blow-over risk. 

All other closures remain the same.


 

UPDATE 10:08 am:

As of 10:08 am, the Eastbound lane from exit 187 to Rawlins is closed, however, the Westbound lane is open, with conditions being slick in some spots with drifting snow. 

Both lanes from Rawlins to Laramie are open, with the conditions being slick with drifting snow. 

Both lanes from Laramie to Exit 359, I-25 Junction, are closed. 

All other closures remain the same.


 

UPDATE 9:50 am:

As of 9:50 am, the Eastbound lane from Exit 187 to Exit 359, I-25 Junction is still closed. 

The Westbound lane from Exit 187 to Laramie is open, with the conditions being slick with drifting snow, fog, and blowing snow. 

All other conditions remain the same. 


 

Due to the continuing inclement weather, much of Interstate 80 has been shut down.

The following closures are currently active as of 8:19 am, with the current closure time being between 5-7 hours.

  • Eastbound from Exit 187 to Rawlins is closed, the westbound lane is currently open, with the conditions being slick with drifting snow and snowfall. 
  • From Rawlins to Exit 359, I-25 Junction is currently closed.
  • From Exit 359, I-25 Junction to the Nebraska State line is currently open, with the conditions being slick with snowfall.
