If your dad is anything like my dad, he likes to be up with the sun. He's also always been a breakfast lover.

Here are some of my dad's favorite breakfast spots in Northern Colorado because, according to dad, breakfast is the most important part of the day.

Fort Collins

The Silver Grill in Fort Collins is the go-to joint for our entire family. First, you absolutely have to try their world-famous cinnamon rolls. Second, the Silver Grill has been around for so long that I actually remember eating there with him as a kid.

You can find this amazing local favorite in Old Town Fort Collins, but be sure to make a reservation because The Silver Grill is the ultimate Father's Day breakfast location.

Windsor

If there are two things my dad definitely loves, they are breakfast pastries and looking at lakes. He's a simple man. That's why Windsor Lake Cafe is a place you should be taking dad on Father's Day.

Loveland

The Loveland Breakfast Club has been serving up some of the best breakfasts in Northern Colorado, with a menu featuring breakfast classics like pancakes and bacon, my go-to order.

My dad loves their array of breakfast sandwich options, and the folks at The Loveland Breakfast Club know what they're doing because they've been doing it since the early 90's.
