Currently, we only know who the Denver Broncos will play in the upcoming 2026 season. We now also know that the Denver Broncos will kick off the season of Monday Night Football against our longtime rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Broncos Will Open 2026 Against the Chiefs

According to the Denver Broncos, the 2026 regular season will start in prime time with week one being on Monday Night Football on September 14 at 6:15 p.m. Mountain Time. Unfortunately, the game will take place at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri to kick off the regular season.

Since the reign of Head Coach Sean Payton, the Denver Broncos have a winning streak of 3-0 during prime-time Monday night games. The Broncos played a single Monday Night Football game in 2025 and defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 28-3.

We will not have to wait much longer to see the full schedule of games for the Denver Broncos, as the complete 2026 schedule will be released on Thursday, May 14, at 5:30 p.m.
