A New Fort Collins Breakfast Gem: Call Your Mother Deli
Some highlights off of their menu include bagels (of course), latkes, and black and white cookies. They also have a pretty good selection of coffees, teas, and other drinks.
You can grab espresso drinks, matcha lattes, and some seasonal drinks like cider.
Where to Find Call Your Mother Deli in Fort Collins
Located in the heart of Fort Collins, at 315 North College Avenue, this deli has already attracted a pretty big following amongst CSU students.
When I went in on the first Sunday that they were open, there was a line straight out the door. I parked my car and hopped in line at 9:30 AM and was out the door about 45 minutes later with my order.
I overheard some people waiting in line with me say that it's less crowded during the week.

What to Order at Call Your Mother Deli
Since I was going to be waiting in line for a bit, I decided to make my wait worth it by ordering a few different items.
I ordered a challah bread poppy seed bagel with regular cream cheese, the Mountain View breakfast sandwich, and a black and white cookie.
The Mountain View consists of a bodega-style egg, latke, American and cheddar Cheeses, mashed avocado on a plain bagel.
I ended up paying around $20 plus tip for these items and a bottled water.
Honest Review: Does Call Your Mother Live Up to the Hype?
As someone who is from the East Coast and loves a good bagel and knows what the perfect black and white should taste like, I went to Call Your Mother a bit critical.
I changed my tune as soon as I bit into my challah poppy seed bagel. The bagel had the right amount of fluff and salt.
Some bagel spots out here in Colorado try to skip out on some of the core components of a good bagel, so when you bite into it, it's firmer than it should be.
And the black and white cookie? It's one of the better ones I've had out here in a long time!
