One thing you can NOT say about this Colorado State Rams football team in 2022, especially over the past 6 weeks or so is that they don't quit. They keep fighting. In a season that's seen losses both on the field and through the transfer portal and players just leaving, the players that have remained and that are on that field are playing their hearts out and once again that was the case on Saturday night in a loss down in Colorado Springs to Air Force 24-12.

Air Force, who is one of the leading teams in the nation in rushing got every single one of their yards on the ground (359) and I have to say I've never seen this in all of my years of watching football, they got 0 yards passing.

Meanwhile on the Rams side, freshman quarterback Clay Millen played a solid game completing 19 of his 24 pass attempts for 179 yards and accounted for both touchdowns in the game.

Millen came to Colorado State from Nevada with head coach Jay Norvell and between him, another Nevada transfer Tory Horton, and running back Avery Morrow, the foundation is there.

Now it's about closing out the season properly and with a win in the final game of the year on Friday afternoon at Canvas Stadium against the New Mexico Lobos.

Kickoff is set for 1:30pm but if you can't make it to the game, you can catch all of the action here on your home for Rams Football, K99.
