Denver Broncos Make $12 Million Donation to Colorado Schools
The season might be over for the Denver Broncos, but they are giving back to nearly every community in Colorado.
This season has been incredibly interesting for the Broncos. For the first time since Peyton Manning was our quarterback, we made it back to the playoffs.
Sure, the Broncos got knocked out in the Wild Card round, but it goes to show that the future is bright for Denver Broncos fans.
Denver Broncos Make Huge Donation
The Broncos are helping Colorado communities in one of the biggest ways in franchise history.
They will donate $12 million worth of football equipment to high school football programs across the state. Athlon Sports reports that the Denver Broncos will donate a total of 15,000 new Riddell Axiom helmets.
I find this to have a bigger impact than if the Broncos donated any other type of equipment. I played football from when I was five years old and played in high school. I had a total of six concussions.

I can honestly say that the majority of those concussions could have been prevented with a better helmet. However, we imagine that many high school programs can not afford helmets of the same quality that an NFL player would wear.
The helmet is currently listed at $965 each.

This is a prime example that the Denver Broncos care about the future of football and the community they are in.
These helmets are the best and safest in football and can even offer analytics to make the future of football safer for all Colorado high school football players.
