Colorado City Named ‘Foodie Capital’ of The Nation, Here Is Why

When you hear the word foodie what do you think of? Foodie is a term used to describe a person who is passionate about food.

This person might use foodie as a way to describe themselves. The pursuit of finding a good restaurant and dish.

I am passionate about finding good meals, but I would not consider myself a foodie by any means. You can see a plate of food on my Instagram story, but not my main feed.

Some cities have better food than others. Some cities have more foodies than others. One city in Colorado has the most foodies than anywhere else in the country.

Denver Foodies Lead the Nation

A new study from The Cookie Rookie has announced and ranked America's foodie capitals. You might be wondering what qualifies a city to be considered more foodie-esque than others. Did we just invent a new word?

The Cookie Rookie selected Denver as America's top foodie city based on diversity of cost, overall cost, and how Instagrammable the food is.

As a millennial, I would say that food is Instagrammable because of its great appearance. The food's appearance, the restaurant's ambiance, and the lighting lead to an Instagrammable meal.

Coloradans Passionate About Their Eats

I believe that there is great food all across Colorado. As a resident of Fort Collins, I love all of the great available food options. It seems like every craving I have can be satisfied beyond expectations. Since there is so much great food in Denver I need to plan more trips to the Mile High City.

The research concludes that Denver residents are passionate about trying new restaurants and have no problem sharing their experiences with their friends, family members, co-workers, and loved ones.
