Denver International Airport Won April Fool’s Day With This Hilarious Prank
April Fool's Day is behind us in Colorado. Many brands and businesses have created elaborate pranks for their consumers.
Last year, 7-Eleven made me believe that they would sell sparkling hot dog water. I felt dumb after I realized it was a prank. I fell for it because I completely forgot about April Fool's Day last year.

I feel like there were not as many big brands making headlines with April Fool's Day pranks like last year. We believe that Denver International Airport had the best prank for 2025.
Denver International Airport's Prank
On April Fool's Day, Denver International Airport posted on social media.
The post was about how they are looking for a Mustang Handler for Blucifer, the iconic mustang sculpture that you see heading in or out of the airport.
Here is what they said.
If keeping Mustang’s red eyes glowing, maintaining his blue shine, and coordinating his photography schedule sounds trot-ally exciting, this might be the job for you!
Actual Job Listing Created
Denver International Airport provided a link, and the job actually looks legitimate. The application offers $60,000 a year.
Some of the responsibilities included applying SPF to Blucifer's gooves, managing Blucifer's 'busy' tour and photo sessions.
Denver International Airport said the perfect person for the job must be able to speak about horses and is not scared easily.
For a second, I thought that maybe this was not an April Fool's Day joke. I then clicked on the application, and this message popped up.
Hayyy there! We admire your enthusiasm for this role, but… April Fools! Turns out, Mustang is a bit too wild to have a handler.
Well done, Denver International Airport, well done...
