Kroger Credit Card Change Impacts King Soopers Shoppers
As a Colorado resident, you probably have a favorite grocery store. If you are anything like me, you are a frequent shopper of the grocery chain King Soopers; you might have the store's credit card. One of the biggest perks of the King Soopers credit card is that you can get an extra five cents a gallon off when you fill up your tank at the grocery store's gas station.
King Soopers Credit Card Fuel Perk Is Ending
Soon, that will no longer happen. According to 9News, the five-cent-per-gallon fuel saving will be ending, as well as the King Soopers Credit Card. The parent company of King Soopers, Kroger, has ended its partnership with U.S. Bank, and those holding a Kroger World Elite Master Card will either have their accounts converted to U.S. Bank Smartly Visa or the account could be closed.

The good news is that customers of King Soopers will still be able to earn points using the King Soopers loyalty card at checkout. If you happen to be a Boost member, you will also earn points through that membership, too.
What King Soopers Cardholders Should Know
King Soopers says that customers will still be able to redeem points for fuel discounts at King Soopers Fuel Centers or take dollars off groceries in-store and through the King Soopers mobile app.
