Northern Colorado is Under a Tornado Watch

After a wild night of thunderstorms in Northern Colorado, many of us saw heavy rain, continuous thunder, lightning, and hail ranging from small to goofball size. Needless to say, it was a pretty rough night for a lot of us in Northern Colorado.

We're about to experience it all over again on Wednesday. The National Weather Service is projecting a hazardous weather outlook for the northeast and north-central Colorado. Wednesday afternoon and evening, we should expect more widespread convection and a possibility of all severe hazards. These hazards can include large hail, tornadoes, and high-speed winds.

A Tornado Watch is Effect for Northern Colorado

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 9 p.m. Wednesday evening for the following counties:

• Adams
• Arapahoe
• Cheyenne
• Denver
• Douglas
• Elbert
• El Paso
• Kit Carson
• Lincoln
• Logan
• Morgan
• Phillips
• Sedgwick
• Teller
• Washington
• Weld
• Yuma
