B-RING in the New Year with broncs, bulls and the K99 bash.

The annual New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge tradition returns to Blue Arena at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 31.

This Northern Colorado tradition is the best way to say goodbye to 2024 and hello to 2025, with a lineup of fan-favorite events like bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, bullfighting, and the family-friendly classic mutton bustin’. Freestyle bullfighting caps the rodeo with man vs. bull in a battle of agility and wit.

With teams featuring top-tier rodeo talent—two bull riders, one bareback rider, one saddle bronc rider, and a freestyle bullfighter—the Extreme Rodeo Challenge promises nonstop action as they compete for the championship title.

The festivities don’t stop there! After the rodeo, head over to the K99 New Year’s Bash next door at the Pedersen Toyota Center (formerly the FNBO exhibition halls).

Starting at 9 p.m., this Northern Colorado New Year’s Eve celebration features a DJ, dancing, prizes, and a toast to 2025. The party goes until 1 a.m., giving rodeo fans — and all of Northern Colorado — the perfect way to keep the New Year’s excitement alive.

Tickets for the Pedersen Toyota New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge go on sale Friday, Nov. 1, at 10 a.m. Groups of 10 or more save on tickets.

Tickets for the K99 New Year’s Bash sold separately.
