Every single year, the Colorado Eagles hockey team host a Teddy Bear Toss night. Fans bring stuffed animals to Blue Arena and when the Eagles score their first goal, everyone throws the toys onto the ice.

Where the Teddy Bears Go: Northern Colorado Charities Supported
Once they are collected, they get donated and transported to three separate charitable organizations: United Way of Weld County, Weld Elves, and Realities for Children.
This year, the Eagles collected approximately 10,000 teddy bears/stuffed animals which filled fifteen Pedersen Toyota Trucks.

Team captain, Jayson Megna scored the first goal of the game at 16:06 in the 1st period. Once the puck hit the net, the crowd erupted with excitement.

Not only were the Eagles able to help out several charities throughout Northern Colorado, they also ended up winning the game and beating the Ontario Reign.
