Northern Colorado has one of the best beer scenes in all of America. Fort Collins is typically referenced as the beer capital of America, but we would also like to give a shoutout to Greeley for creating amazing beer. I think it is safe to say that the breweries in Greeley are extremely underrated and they deserve a lot more praise.

While we love breweries in Greeley, we have some unfortunate news to share. A great taphouse in Greeley will be shutting its doors for good. The brewery is pivoting in a different direction.

Greeley Brewery Is Saying Goodbye

In a social media post, Tightknit Brewing Co. announced that they will be closing their downtown Greeley taproom. The brewery has leased that space for seven years. That means that Northern Coloradans will not be able to visit, nor go to Tightknit Brewing Co. for trivia nights, open mic nights, or watch performances.

Tightknit Brewing Co. says they will not renew their lease on 8th Street. Does that mean that Tightknit Brewing Co. is closing down? Absolutely not.

Plans for Northern Colorado Brewery

In the same social media post, Tightknit Brewing Co. announced that they will have open beer hall hours at their brewhouse in Evans. A date for when open beer hall hours will begin is yet to be determined at this time.

Tightknit Brewing Co. did say that the space will have limited hours. However, the space will be available to book for private events as well.

The last day of operation for Tightknit Brewing Co. in downtown Greeley will be on December 23. They will be having a holiday and goodbye party.
