Many people grew up watching wrestling. In the 80s, the 90s, and early 2000s, it was a major part of pop culture. Perhaps you grew up watching Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. Maybe you grew up watching WCW and the NWO run wild. Perhaps you were a fan of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock during the Attitude Era, or maybe you are younger and are a John Cena fan. Most people have seen professional wrestling at some time in their life or at least know one of the names mentioned above. Have you ever experienced it in person, though? WWE is coming to Colorado once again, and if you are a pro wrestling fan, you won't want to miss it.

World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE, is the biggest professional wrestling company in the world and is the one most think of when they think of wrestling. The company tours all over the country, and even all over the world, entertaining audiences weekly. While it is fun to watch on television, there is nothing like experiencing it live, and Colorado will have that chance this fall. On October 2, 'Friday Night Smackdown' will be happening at Ball Arena in Denver, and you could be there to see some of the biggest stars.

'Friday Night Smackdown' in Denver

Tickets are not available yet, but there will be a presale on Thursday, July 23, and tickets will be on sale to the general public on Friday, July 24, beginning at 10 AM. It has been nearly a year since WWE has been in Denver, making this a rare chance to see superstars like CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Sami Zayn, and many more. It is a great way to spend a Friday night in the city, and with it being on Friday, there is no school or work for most the next day. If you haven't watched professional wrestling in a while, it is much more family-friendly than what most of us grew up on in the 90s and is a great time for kids.
