Country Artist Zach Top Represents Colorado at CMA Awards
The 2024 Country Music Association Awards were phenomenal this year. Country music's biggest night had great performances and legendary moments. I think we will all remember Jeff Bridges mispronouncing Morgan Wallen's name for the rest of time.
We were especially excited to see Northern Colorado get a subtle shoutout during the award show.
Zach Top at the CMA Awards
You should familiarize yourself if you do not know Zach Top or his music. He was nominated at the CMA Awards for New Artist of the Year.
His hits "Sounds Like the Radio" and "I Never Lie" are my favorites. Top says that Alan Jackson is by far one of his biggest inspirations.
Zach Top Wears a Colorado Rodeo Belt Buckle
Zach Top played at the Greeley Stampede in 2024. He opened for Shane Smith and the Saints.
The Greeley Stampede gives out belt buckles to all of their performers and Zach Top was seen at the 2024 CMA Awards wearing a Greeley Stampede belt buckle. How cool is that?
Here is a closer look.
That is really cool. It is great to see the Greeley Stampede get some national recognition.
Zach Top's Colorado Connection
Zach Top has a deeper connection to Colorado than most artists. Top was born and raised in Washington State, but he moved to Colorado after high school. During his time here, he attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and worked in construction. Zach Top lived in Colorado for five years.
We wonder if he went to the Greeley Stampede as a fan before he performed there. We will have to ask him next time he stops by Colorado.
