Colorado is full of dog lovers, that's for certain. Fort Collins is home to a very popular restaurant, who are also dog lovers, of course. They decided, nearly 10 years into their operation, to feed "man's best friend," as well.

This is going to be great for those who love Fort Collins and their dogs; Music City Hot Chicken, as of October of 2025, has dog food. One of the Choice City's hippest and most fun places to eat turns what might be "food waste" into a tasty and healthy meal supplement for the furry members of your family.

Music City Hot Chicken's first Colorado location opened near Prospect and College in Fort Collins in 2016, taking over the spot that had been 900° Wood Fired Pizza for two years.

What is Music City Hot Chicken of Fort Collins' Dog Food Made of?

They take chicken tender and thigh trimmings (including white and dark meat) and throw in sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, and spinach. Thousands of people in Northern Colorado know how good Music City Hot Chicken's tenders and thighs are, to think that dogs get to enjoy them now, too, is great.

Music City Hot Chicken's dog food is named "Wayne Food," named after co-owner Sam Graf's dog, Wayne. You have to believe Wayne is very flattered and well-fed. However, like there's only one Wayne, there's only one Music City Hot Chicken where you can order the Wayne Food: The second Choice City location they opened, at 1820 North College, Suite 180.

Wayne Food is available in two portions: A smaller 18 oz. for $7, and a "Let's Do This" size of 5 pounds for $25. It'll be fun for a lot of people to bring home some great food, for every family member, from the same restaurant.
