Great Little Shop in Windsor Closing Up After 3 Years

A little shop in a little Colorado town has decided it's time to "let it go," after nearly three years of fun. Times are tough, that's for sure.

Not many people probably know about The Pineapple Market, but it has been a fun little boutique in a great location since opening in the summer of 2022. Running a small business is tough, but worth it, until the effort outweighs the rewards.

Windsor, though growing bigger and bigger, is still a little town in the big scheme of things. I can attest that traffic rolling down Main Street has really grown over the last 20 years, the town still has that "small town" vibe.

Downtown Windsor has seen more than a few shops open and close over the years; The Pineapple Market, south of Main Street on 5th Street will be joining that list by the end of May, 2025.

The market has been a little shop with clothing, handmade goods, vintage items, herbs, creams and more. Shana Stolz opened Pineapple Market in 2022, with a vision of bringing joy to customers with the items that would be found inside the shop.

Gifts for friends, clothing for yourself, a perfect set of earrings, perhaps. The shop held items that came from different businesses across Northern Colorado.

In March of 2025, however, Shana announced that The Pineapple Market, with its great location would be closing its doors by the end of May. Dozens of people commented on how saddened they were that she was closing the store:

I just wanted to let you know how much I’ve loved your shop and especially you! It wasn’t just a store; it was a space filled with warmth, creativity, and a sense of belonging. I’m truly going to miss it.

Whatever the future holds, I know you’re going to do amazing things, and I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with all of us. Love you!!!
