Loveland's first winery is a great story of success; having opened in 2010, they've been popular from the start. Fifteen years later, they announced a new tasting room for Old Town Fort Colllins.

Loveland's Oldest Winery Has Fort Collins Roots

With the announcement of their new tasting room in Old Town Fort Collins, Sweet Heart Winery spoke of how the team grew up in Fort Collins, attending Fort Collins High School, Rocky Mountain High School and CSU. It means a lot to them to bring their success back to their home town.

Sweet Heart Winery in Loveland has been a great destination for over a decade; not only providing great wines and hard ciders made from California fruit, but hosting many events throughout the year, such as weddings and weekly 'Wine Dancing." Loveland, itself, is very proud to have Sweet Heart Winery as part of the town.

Where Will Sweet Heart Winery's Tasting Room Be in Fort Collins?

For eight years at 253 Linden in Old Town Fort Collins, stood The Reserve by Old Elk Distillery; in May of 2025 they closed their doors after being bought by a distillery out of Ohio. Sweet Heart Winery's "Tesoro by Sweet Heart Wine" tasting room took over that space.

From Sweet Heart Winery:

Tesoro, meaning 'treasure' or 'sweetheart' in the love languages, is designed as in intimate tasting room experience offering Sweet Heart's nationally acclaimed wines, award-wining hard ciders, and a rotating seasonal tapas menu.

The tasting room will, at first, be only for their Wine Club members, but will eventually be open to the public. It should become another "destination" spot, like their main location in Loveland.
