The Poudre River Trail segment runs a half mile to connect the Arapaho Bend Natural Area east to the pedestrian underpass at Interstate 25 that the Colorado Department of Transportation completed earlier in 2024.

This particular part of the massive trail system allows recreational and commuter users to travel between Fort Collins and Timnath without having to travel along the overcrowded roads in the area.

What’s needed to complete the Poudre River Trial?

Completion of this portion is expected later in 2024, but not later than 2025, according to the project website.
