We've seen some major chains around Colorado either close every location nationwide or go through major downsized. One more worldwide chain will now be added to that list as it's slated to close over 400 locations across the U.S.

When giant chain stores and businesses like Toys R Us, Big Lots, Best Buy, and Macy's, among many others, start to shutter their doors, you know that many others in those similar industries are soon to follow.

One store, an absolute global juggernaut with over 84,000 locations in 19 different countries, shocked us all when it was announced that it would be closing nearly 500 locations across the states.

Sure, 444 locations on a map of over 80,000 may seem small, but it's still a huge deal and a possible sign of more closures coming for them in the future.

As far back as many of us remember, 7-Eleven stores have helped create many CORE memories. From snacks to Slurpee's, and more, 7-Eleven is as iconic of a brand as they come.

Sadly, even the most iconic brands are feeling the effects of inflation, and even as odd as this may sound, the decline in cigarette sales, as they have both affected sales and has forced 7-Eleven's parent company, Seven&i Holdings, to make some very difficult decisions.

Colorado has just shy of 400 locations of the convenience store juggernaut as of today, and although the list of closures has not been made public yet, the underperforming location closures are expected to take place within the next couple of months. We're hoping no other Colorado locations close down, as we've lost a few already this year, but that's yet to be known... Will update as soon as that information becomes available.

Colorado Holiday Store Hours for Thanksgiving and Black Friday

Most Colorado stores will be closed on Thanksgiving giving their employees time to spend with their families. Here's a list of closed stores with some guesstimates of Black Friday openings.
