Whether you love them or absolutely dread them, everybody has a birthday.

Some people go all out in celebrating them, others feel intense existential dread because of them, while others simply do not care.

My birthday recently came around, and I was originally a part of the existential dread crowd. However, instead of using the day to fear growing older, I celebrated with a little party at my house with my closest friends.

As it would turn out, that makes the day a whole lot better.

My birthday in particular falls in September, which is actually the second-most popular birth month behind August. In fact, if you get rid of August’s extra day, September is the most popular birth month.

Having this knowledge, it made me wonder; what is the most popular birthday in Colorado?

The Most Common Birthday in Colorado

When it comes to pinpointing the exact most common birthday in Colorado, it can be a little tricky.

We do know that in the United States, the most common birthday you can have is September 9th. In fact, nine of the ten most popular birthdays in America fall in September.

However, the most common birthday in Colorado last year did not fall in the ninth month of the year at all.

Instead, the most common birthdays in Colorado last year were both in July: July 6th and July.

This means October seemed to be the month that people were most likely to start trying to have kids.

What is the Least Common Birthday in Colorado?

In terms of the least common birthday in Colorado, there’s only one true answer because it’s the same for the rest of the world that uses the Gregorian calendar; February 29th.

Obviously, this day only happens once every four years, so you have a 1 in 1,461 chance of being born then. In fact, February in general is the least common birth month, simply because it’s the shortest.

However, when it’s not a leap year, it would seem December 25th is the least common birthday in Colorado.

This is simply due to there being less hospital staff during the holidays, so they typically do not schedule induction or c-sections on them.
