There's no doubt that Colorado pet lovers really love their pets. While it's not uncommon for families or individuals to keep certain birds like parakeets, parrots, and cockatiels as pets, there are strict laws in the state of Colorado regarding the ownership of birds as pets including one that prohibits the keeping of one specific type of bird.
