New Study Says This Colorado City Is One of the Best Places to Spend Valentine’s Day
Don't freak out, but Valentine's Day is coming up.
Did you hear me? I said don't freak out. There's no need to start spiraling and panic-buying gifts your girlfriend probably won't even like because I have a solution for you.

The answer is...drum roll please...experience. Maybe it's just me, but I'd prefer a romantic day with the hubby over a heart-shaped necklace I'll never wear any day (apologies to fans of heart-shaped jewelry).
Thankfully, Colorado has plenty of experiences to offer. In fact, a new study from WalletHub has ranked Denver as the 14th best city to spend Valentine's Day in.
When I first read this, I thought that the Mile High City's elevation made people a little loopy for love, but that's not the case.
In actuality, Denver has a high availability of romantic activities, plenty of flower and chocolate sources, and a decent amount of options for couples on a budget.
This is pretty accurate if you ask me. For $59, you can embark on a wine, cheese, and dessert tour in Colorado's capital. If that's too pricey for you (no judgment from me), there are other places you can go — WalletHub also listed Aurora and Colorado Springs as nice, affordable places to spend the holiday.
