Summer is winding down, and fall is slowly creeping into the air.

The kiddos are probably already planning their Halloween costumes, but the adults have something else to look forward to: Oktoberfest.

2022 Oktoberfest Celebrations in Northern Colorado

Loveland Oktoberfest | Sept. 16 & 17 at Fairgrounds Park in Loveland

Grimm Brothers Brewhouse and Big Thompson Kiwanis Club are teaming up to bring "Northern Colorado's most authentic Oktoberfest experience" to Loveland. The event is free to attend and will feature a stein-hoisting competition, German food and beer, and live music.

OktoBREWfest | Sept. 23 & 24 at Lincoln Park in Greeley

According to TripsToDiscover, OktoBREWfest is returning to Greeley for a fun-filled weekend with a pie-eating competition, German beer, life-sized beer pong, kids' activities, and more. There might even be a VIP beer tasting.

Left Hand Oktoberfest | Sept. 23 & 24 at The Garden in Longmont

Head to The Garden in Longmont for Left Hand Brewing's Oktoberfest celebration, featuring live music, a stein-holding contest, ceremonial firkin tapping, food trucks, and more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Left Hand Brewing Foundation.

Autumn Gold Festival | Sept. 24 & 25 at Bond Park in Estes Park

Although Uncover Colorado notes this is not technically an Oktoberfest, the free festival will offer live music from five local bands, a raffle drawing, a classic car show, kids' activities, bratwurst, beer, and wine.

Windsor Oktoberfest | Oct. 1 at Mash Lab Brewing & Kitchen in Windsor

Mash Lab Brewing & Kitchen is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration at the beginning of October. A press release from Indie Creative Co. reports the event will feature a special beer release, bratwurst plates, a Mash Lab beer stein, and more.

Berthoud Oktoberfest | Oct. 1 at Fickel Park in Berthoud

Berthoud is putting on a free Oktoberfest at Fickel Park, complete with a pretzel-eating contest, a German costume contest, a scavenger hunt, a cornhole tournament, and more. Of course, there will also be German food, beer, and music.
