The Colorado Eagles begin their 20th season in Loveland as the team and Eagles Country will be celebrating throughout the season.

As is the case every year, we all look forward to special nights on the schedule, like Teddy Bear Toss Night, Cancer Awareness Night, the Pot of Gold game and, of course, Military Appreciation Night.

Last year was pretty awesome with the Blue Angels-themed jerseys.

This year, this special night of recognizing and honoring the men and women serving our country and our veterans will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 8, when the Texas Stars come to town.

The game, presented by the Water Valley Company and Freddy's Steakburgers, will feature special jerseys that will be auctioned off for a chance to take home with you.

Nominate a military member - active or retired - for Eagles tickets

We at K99 want to recognize and show appreciation to our heroes that serve and have served our country to defend our freedoms by hooking as many of them up as possible with tickets to enjoy this special night at the Budweiser Events Center.

We are looking to Salute Our Soldiers (and all service members), and you can help us by recognizing a service member in your life who you feel deserves the recognition and who may enjoy themselves at a hockey game on us.
