Wellington, say hello to The Human Bean.

The popular drive-thru coffee shop officially broke ground on its new Northern Colorado location on Tuesday, Aug. 10, according to reports.

“Conversations on this location in Wellington began in 2015,” said Human Bean owner, Frank Sherman in a statement, as per the Loveland-Reporter Herald; “The residents here have always supported our coffee truck, and it is the type of close-knit community we enjoy being a part of. It can sometimes take a while to line up the perfect site, but we believe the wait is worth it. We are so excited to officially have some solid plans to become part of the Wellington community with a permanent location.”

The Oregon-based drive-thru coffee stand opened its first location in Ashland, Oregon back in 1998. In 2002, The Human Bean was able to start franchising the brand and system beyond Oregon state borders due to a mass of early success.

Fast forward to today, The Human Bean brand now has over 300 locations open or under development in 25 states nationwide.

With the addition of the new Wellington location, there will now be 11 Human Bean locations in Northern Colorado.

The newest shop will be located at 8121 Sixth Ave.
