Northern Colorado law enforcement works hard day and night to keep our cities and towns safe. Whether they're assisting citizens or fighting crime, their jobs are anything but easy.

One of their challenges is tracking down suspects on the Most Wanted list. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office continually updates its Most Wanted list, allowing citizens to provide information regarding any of the alleged criminals, such as their whereabouts or other details.

This week, Larimer County's most wanted is Payton Nicole Benninger.

Benninger is wanted by the Larimer County Sheriff's Office on a misdemeanor warrant for Failure to Comply – 2nd-Degree Forgery. There is a $100 bond set for this case.

The suspect is also wanted by the LCSO on a felony warrant for Failure to Comply – Attempted 2nd-Degree Assault on a Peace Officer / 1st-Degree Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft. There is a $200 bond for these charges.

Additionally, another agency wants Benninger for Failure to Comply-Aggravated 1st-Degree Motor Vehicle Theft / Possession of Controlled Substance / Possession of Burglary Tools / Vehicular Eluding.

Benninger is five feet four and weighs 190 pounds. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a tattoo above her left eye.

Her last known address is 2421 West 24th St #101 in Greeley.
