Winter Weather Leads to Terrifying Scenario for Wyoming Trooper
As the snow started to fall yesterday, conditions across Colorado and Wyoming roadways quickly deteriorated, causing treacherous afternoon and evening commutes for many people.
Poor visibility combined with slick roads led to lots of accidents, and although drivers were warned to travel slowly, not everyone followed this advice.
As a result, a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper found himself in a terrifying scenario, where he just barely escaped being hit by a wild vehicle while responding to another accident on the highway. An out-of-control SUV swerved off the left side of the road, almost sliding right into the trooper. According to Fox13 News, the crash happened on Interstate 80 in Albany County, about 25 miles west of Laramie.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident on January 5.
