Garth Brooks' 1990 album 'No Fences' is the album that changed music history.

This album had songs like:

  • Friends In Low Places
  • The Thunder Rolls
  • Two of a Kind, Workin On A Full House
  • Unanswered Prayers

The album also changed how much people knew about Wyoming having wild horses.

Song #6 on the album is titled 'Wild Horses'

The song starts out from a phone booth in Cheyenne, so I'd say the world is probably aware that Wyoming has cool wild horses.

The song continues...

Wild horses keep draggin' me away

And I'll lose more than I'll win someday

Wild horses just stay wild

And her heart is all I break

Wild horses keep draggin' me away

You're welcome. You too will be walking around humming that song all day and I ain't mad about it.

Wyoming is home to may wild horses and they're mostly managed by the Bureau of Land Management.

There are quite a few places in Wyoming you can see them. Here are a few.

It's quite the sight to be able to watch them in their element.  It's really cool to watch them just having fun with each other.

There have been many videos of the horses as of late, as a matter of fact, 60 Minutes just did a feature on them.

Check out the videos.

Stunning Pictures of the Wild Horses of Sand Wash Basin

The Sand Wash Basin HMA (Herd Management Area) is located in the northwest corner of Colorado, about 50 miles west of Craig, Colorado, and is home to over 800 wild horses. Scott Wilson is a Colorado photographer who was recently able to capture some amazing pictures of the herd.
