Broncos Season Finale Against Chiefs Moved To Saturday Afternoon

As the 2021 NFL season winds down this weekend for many teams, the Denver Broncos included, the NFL has flexed their game against the Kansas City Chiefs from Sunday afternoon to Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.

The game was originally set for a 2:25 kickoff on Sunday but the NFL is shuffling some games around this weekend due to the multiple playoff scenarios that can take place depending on the results of so many games.

The Broncos, unfortunately, won't be affected with playoff seeding because they were just eliminated last weekend with the loss against the Chargers where they were severely short-handed between injuries and COVID protocols.

But, the Chiefs can claim the #1 seed in the AFC with a win and a Tennessee Titans loss.

Hopefully, the Broncos can dig in and knock the hated Chiefs from that top spot in the playoffs and put a nice exclamation mark on this 2021 season that didn't go as well as we had hoped.

However, there were some bright spots, especially with some of the young players developing on this team.

Sure, it's not the playoffs, but how nice would it be to end the season on the high note of knocking the Chiefs from the top spot in the AFC for their playoff run?

Hopefully, we get some guys back and are at full strength because that would be a great way to end the season.

It won't be easy though. The Chiefs have beaten the Broncos the last 12 times they played. The last time the Broncos beat the Chiefs was in September 2015 when a guy named Peyton Manning was the quarterback.
