OUCH. Recently, a CPW officer received a call about a deer in distress. It had apparently been shot with an arrow that was sticking through its nose.

And because our Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers are so awesome, they were able to tranquilize the deer and remove the arrow safely.

According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the wound was pretty fresh and the deer was in pretty good condition (all things considered). CPW would to send out a little reminder that no matter where you are,  it IS ILLEGAL to hunt within city limits even during established hunting seasons.
