For those interested in houseplants, there are plenty of options as far as where to purchase them for your home. However, in Colorado, we also have a place in which we can purchase home decor that's a little bit more on the macabre side of things.

For example, have you ever looked at one of your houseplants and thought that it would look much better with a real-life skull next to it? If so, keep scrolling to check out one of the most unique and creepy stores in the state where you can make that dream happen and so much more.

Colorado's Creepy Terrorium Shop

The store is called Terrorium Shop, a play on the words 'terrarium' and 'terror,' and is a perfect name for it based on what you'll find inside.

The shop is located at 4416 Yates St, Denver, CO 80212 which is just down the street from Lakeside Amusement Park and Denver's famous Oriental Theater.

Upon entering the shop, one of the first things you'll notice is the vast amount of plants covering nearly every square inch of it. However, you'll likely also notice that there are just as many animal skulls throughout the shop as well.

The shop sells pieces of art that incorporate plants and things like animal skulls and other bones, insects, taxidermy, and even snakes. In fact, there's actually a live snake that lives in the shop, but also one in a jar that appears to be for sale.
