Recently, we've had a LOT of things coming back locally for the summer and while this one might not be as big as  Cheyenne Frontier Days or the Greeley Stampede...it's still a big deal just for the simple fact that people are MORE than ready to get out and do stuff.

Downtown Greeley has announced the return of Friday Fest this summer. According to the Greeley Tribune, the lifting of outdoor limitations was the main reason for the return of this summer tradition in Greeley.

Obviously if things take a turn for the worst in terms of Covid numbers and our hospitals start to see a big spike in admissions and start to get overwhelmed, things can change but for right now, it's a go.

The season will begin with two bands on May 28 with some of the highlights planned being the Greeley Blues Jam kickoff on June 4, the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce takeover on June 11 and the Greeley Stampede Kickoff celebration on June 18.

The event will run every Friday through September 18. The entire lineup has yet to be finalized but you can keep up to date on the Greeley Fest Facebook page and the Downtown Greeley Website.

Let the fun begin.
