Experience The Magic Of The Polar Express In Colorado This Winter
This winter, climb aboard arguably one of, if not the most magical train ride Colorado has to offer.
Ever heard of The Polar Express? (this was intended to be a rhetorical question... but if you aren't familiar with this classic Christmas tale, watch the video above - it might jog your memory.)
In the meantime, True Believers, rejoice; the Colorado Railroad Museum has announced that they'll be bringing back an extremely popular tradition for 2021 - The Polar Express Train Ride.
For those that are looking for the ultimate Christmas experience, look no further.
The unparalleled, interactive experience will have you singing carols with friends and family, nibbling at warm cookies, and sipping on delicious hot chocolate as you're taken through the story of the Polar Express in the form of a cabaret-style show.
But that's only the beginning -
"The experience continues as you step outside to witness the dramatic arrival of THE POLAR EXPRESS™. This symphony of smoke and steam emerges from the darkness, and the Conductor loudly asks if anyone would like to climb aboard", the Colorado Railroad Museum's website reads; to which, you'd obviously respond with, "yes".
After being whisked away onto the Polar Express, you'll be on your way to your final destination - the North Pole. There, you’ll be greeted with singing and dancing elves, and you'll even get to see Santa give out The First Gift of Christmas.
Simply put, it's an experience you don't want to miss out on.
Performances are held on select dates for eight weeks beginning Thursday, Nov. 11, and continuing through Thursday, Dec. 23.
The experience is about 90 minutes long and tickets run between $80 to $100 for adults. "First-class" train car seating is also available for purchase but at a higher rate.
Tickets for the Polar Express Train Ride are now on sale to the general public at ColoradoRailroadMuseum.org.
