Fort Collins Police Services has made an arrest in an attempted Fort Collins kidnapping case as of this morning, August 22, 2020.

At 1:45 a.m., members of the Loveland Police Department alerted FCPS about a grey van matching the description of a suspect vehicle from an attempted kidnapping that occurred earlier this week in Fort Collins (on August 20). The van was eventually found in Loveland.

Detectives then sought out the van and found Christopher Clay Webb, who was taken into custody and booked into the Larimer County Detention Center just over an hour later, according to Fort Collins Police Services' Facebook post.

If you have information about Webb or the kidnapping itself, you are encouraged to call Detective Kelsey Skaar at 970-221-6514 or Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970-221-6868 or www.stopcriminals.org.
