Thanksgiving is over, and it's time to prepare for the most wonderful time of the year. What better way to celebrate than with some holiday lights?

It's no secret that Northern Colorado has some of the best light displays during the holidays (even with the closing of Greeley Grizwalds). However, it can be tricky to find out where to look.

To help you navigate NoCo's lights this winter, we're teaming up with Nature's Herbs and Wellness Centers to create a map of all the amazing light displays along the Front Range — but we need your help.

Do you cover your house in lights from head to toe? Does your neighbor have an outstanding collection of holiday inflatables? Does the house down the street time its display to Christmas music? Or do you keep it simple with some classy string lights?

If you're planning to decorate your house this year, we want to see it.

Submit a photo of your lights using the form below (or by submitting a photo on your favorite Townsquare Media station app). Then, we'll add it to our holiday lights map.

But that's not all.

Once the map is complete, we'll put it to a vote. Northern Coloradans will choose their favorite holiday light display, and Townsquare Media and Nature's Herbs and Wellness Centers will award the winner with $500 towards their electric bill. Additionally, the winner will also receive a $100 gift card for Nosh NoCo.

Need decorating inspiration? Make sure to check out the amazing lights display at Nature's Herbs and Wellness Centers in Milliken — located right off of Highway 60.

Happy holidays!

5 Reasons To Start Your Christmas Shopping Now

We don't mean to nag but trust us when we say, this is not the year to wait on that Christmas shopping.

Grand Junction Christmas Light Displays of the 1940s

These decorations don't compare to the magnificent blue light display you'll see in the neighborhood in the northwest part of town. It was a different time. Even at that, there's something heartwarming about these 1948 decorations.

These are the best of the best of 1948. I regret I don't know which house placed first, second, etc. In the end, it doesn't matter. They're all great. Take a look at the gallery. Who knows? You might see a house you recognize. For that matter, you might see someone you recognize.
