Helpers Need Help: Santa Cops of Larimer County Needs New HQ Space
The Santa Cops of Larimer County organization goes back over 20 years; a coalition of volunteers and law enforcement agencies making sure children get Christmas. This timer around, they need our help.
Santa Cops' mission is to build strong relationships between the children in the Fort Collins area and the local law enforcement agencies.
Agencies included:
- Fort Collins Police Services
- Loveland Police Department
- Larimer County Sheriff's Office
- Colorado State Patrol
- Colorado State University Police
- Timnath Police Department
- Larimer Country District Attorney's Office
While it's true that the major focus of Santa Cops of Larimer County is to get gifts to as many disadvantaged children as they can at Christmastime, they work throughout the entire year helping kids; so hearing that they are in need of our hep, I felt that I should help get the word out.
They currently have a headquarters space that is large - 5,383 square feet, at The Outlets at Loveland. That location will need to be vacated at the end of March, 2022. This puts Santa Cops of Larimer County in a predicament: Where do they go?

They need a big space for collecting the thousands of toys that get donated throughout the year, wrapping gifts, hosting events and overall general operations of the 501(c)(3) non-profit.
There must be someone who know someone, who knows somebody else that has a space available that's large enough to accommodate Santa Cops. The only stipulation is that it needs to be in Larimer County, which is pretty big: We can do this.
