Suzanne went missing from her Chaffee County home on May 10, 2020, when she did not return home from an alleged bike ride. Investigators believe that she is no longer alive, although they have not recovered her body.
Law enforcement stayed mum about the case for nearly a year until arresting Suzanne's husband, Barry Morphew, in May of 2021. In May of this year, he will face trial for multiple charges, including first-degree murder, tampering with a deceased human body, tampering with physical evidence, and attempting to influence a public servant.
The newly-released evidence is from Barry's preliminary hearings, which took place in August of 2021 and covered details of Suzanne's affair, evidence in the Morphew home, and Barry's whereabouts on the day of her disappearance.
According to FOX21, the evidence includes photos of the Morphews' vehicles, Barry's weapons, a tranquilizer dart cap from the couple's laundry machine, surveillance footage from a Broomfield hotel, Suzanne's last "proof-of-life" picture, and more, along with text messages from Suzanne detailing the derailment of her marriage.

The station reports that Barry, who bonded out of jail in September of 2021, is required to stay in Chaffee County; however, he is allowed to visit his daughters in Gunnison and his attorneys in Denver.
