Windsor’s Newest ‘Hot Spot’ is Open and Smells of Glorious Bacon [Photos]
It was in late 2021, that it was announced that a Fort Collins favorite was planning a location in Windsor. In early 2023, the doors opened on Main Street for the third location of the very unique, yet traditional, William Oliver's.
William Oliver's Pub & Eatery began operations at Drake and Timberline in Fort Collins in 2013, bringing to the Choice City a traditional "pub:" No TVs, no loud distractions, craft beers, a great selection of whiskeys. It's no wonder that they now have three locations.
Six years after opening in Fort Collins, William Oliver's opened a second location in Lafayette, Colorado. In conjunction with the bar/restaurant's 10 years in business, their Windsor location opened in February 2023 at 514 Main St., at a location that was once home to a karate studio for many years.
WINDSOR'S WILLIAM OLIVER'S IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS IN ONE WAY
The downtown Windsor location of William Oliver's will have an actual "snug," a private room attached to the bar. You may have seen the snug at the Fort Collins location, but it is not attached to the bar like the one in Windsor. Lafayette does have a "Library," but again, it's not an actual snug.

William Oliver's Publick House joins Betta Gumbo as a restaurant/bar that has opened an additional location in downtown Windsor. The two are just a few doors away from each other on Main Street. Windsor opened another "trendy" bar/restaurant, Howlers & Growlers in November 2022. The town is really starting to grow when it comes to "hot spots" to go out to eat or for a drink.
