It's no secret that Colorado has a lot to offer to residents and visitors alike — a 2021 survey from YouGov even ranked the Centennial State as the second-best in the country.

However, that doesn't mean Colorado doesn't have flaws. There are rumblings on the Internet that the Centennial State doesn't totally reach its reputation, particularly regarding tourist attractions.

Some say hotspots like Garden of the Gods and the Four Corners Monument don't live up to the hype, and now, a recent study from HawaiianIslands.com has discovered the most overrated tourist attraction in Colorado.

No, it's not the aforementioned destinations. According to the website, Colorado's most overvalued feature is Indian Hot Springs, a relaxation resort located in Idaho Springs.

But why? HawaiianIslands.com took to TripAdvisor to see which popular tourist attractions had a high amount of negative reviews. A look at Indian Hot Springs' TripAdvisor page shows that their research isn't entirely wrong — there is a fair portion of not-so-nice feedback.

Some of the reviews mentioned frustrations with reservations and a new bathing suit policy (clothing used to be optional). Still, there are positive reviews to match, so perhaps you'll just have to check out Indian Hot Springs for yourself — or pay a visit to Colorado's most underrated tourist attraction in Colorado Springs.
