‘Tread': Colorado Killdozer Documentary Now on Netflix
On June 4, 2004, Marvin Heemeyer, a welder from Colorado, terrorized the town of Granby with a tank called the 'Killdozer.'
A decade and a half later, that story was documented by the film Tread.
The Denver Channel said that the movie had a 'short run' at a few theaters in Denver in early 2020, including The Lyric in Fort Collins, before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down theaters. Now, Tread is available on Netflix, KKTV reported.
No one was hurt during the spree, but Heemeyer did take his own life. We've seen the news videos dozens of times, but you can now have a different look into the story of the man who turned a bulldozer into a tank that wiped out the town of Granby, causing millions of dollars in damage — at home.
