Weld Sheriff, Brighton Police Investigating Suspicious Death
The Weld County Sheriff's Office and Brighton Police Department are reaching out to the community for information, as they work together on an investigation surrounding the recent, suspicious death of a 33-year-old man.
On Tuesday (June 29), deputies were dispatched to Weld County Roads 20 and 19, east of Firestone, after a deceased body was located in the area.
During the initial investigation, law enforcement identified the body as that of Ryan Coburn. The 33-year-old male was officially reported as missing to Brighton Police on June 23, but was last seen by his family on June 19.
Coburn's cause and manner of death have not yet been released by the Weld County Coroner.
Anyone who has information about Coburn's activities during the days leading up to his death, or the circumstances that led to his passing, is asked to contact Detective Jared Patterson at 970-400-5374. According to the Weld County Sheriff's Office, the photo of Coburn is approximately two years old.
