The city of Fort Collins approved the development proposal for a 205-home subdivision, according to a Coloradoan report.

The proposal comes from Fort Collins developer JD Padilla for the 57 acres of vacant farmland at South Timberline Road across from Bacon Elementary and Zephyr Road.

The subdivision will include 151 single-family detached homes and 54 single-family attached homes, according to plans filed with the city.

Road extensions of Zephyr Road and Rosen Drive to the south and east must be completed before any home can be occupied, according to the approval.
