According to a new study from Wallet Hub, Colorado is one of the worst states for drivers. Out of the 50 states, Colorado ranked at 41.

The state came in as the ninth-worst due to factors of cost and ownership, traffic and infrastructure, safety, and access to vehicles and maintenance.

Coloradans also have to deal with one of the highest car theft rates in the United States. Colorado came in second worst, just behind our neighbors to the south in New Mexico.

The top five states for drivers were Texas, Indiana, North Carolina, Iowa, and Tennessee. The top five worst states for drivers were Delaware, Maryland, Washington, California, and the worst state for drivers is Hawaii.
